Divis Tower Death 'Treated As Murder'
Police have said they are treating the death of a man at Divis Tower flats in west Belfast as murder.
The victim has been named as 62-year-old James Hughes.
He was found in his flat on Sunday night, 6 November, on the 14th floor of the building after a member of the public raised the alarm.
A man, aged 42, has been arrested and remains in custody.
Detective Superintendent Kevin Geddes, from Serious Crime Branch, said: "We are not in a position to confirm a cause of death until a post mortem examination has taken place but we are following a definite line of enquiry.
"Although we have a suspect in custody and residents in Divis Tower have been very helpful in providing information as part of our enquiries, we are still appealing for assistance."
Police have asked for anyone who was on the 14th, 15th or 16th floors of the building and heard anything suspicious on Saturday or Sunday to contact them.
