Tramadol, temazepam, diazepam and lyrica were stolen during the break-in which happened in the Stratheden Heights area between 5am and 6am on Sunday, 30 October.
Inspector Francey said: "People should only take medicines in consultation with their healthcare professionals who have access to patient health records, who are qualified to assess their medical needs and can take into account the risks and benefits associated with every medicine.
"I would ask the public if they are offered any medicines from an unregulated source or if they have any information about this burglary to report it to the police on 101 quoting reference number 263 of 31/10/16."
