Arson Attack In North Belfast

Two men have been treated for smoke inhalation following an arson attack at a house in north Belfast.

The incident happened at a property on the Ligoniel Road on Wednesday, 12 October.

The front door was set on fire and significant damage was caused.

Police said they are investigating a "sectarian motive" and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

Police have launched an investigation following a suspected arson attack at an apartment block in north Belfast. Bins were set alight in the amenities area of the apartment block in the Edlingham Street area on Tuesday. The NIFRS and police attended the scene and put the blaze out.

Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack at a property in Belfast. A rag was put through the door of a house in the York Road area and set alight. Significant damage was caused to the door and the hall. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested Over Arson Attack In North Belfast
A man has been arrested on suspicion of an arson attack with intent to endanger life after a fire at a shop in north Belfast. The attack occurred at premises on the Antrim Road on Sunday, 02 July, just before 8am. Substantial damage was caused to a caged area at the side of the property and scorch damage to a wall.

Catholic Church In North Belfast Targeted In Arson Attack
Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack at a church in north Belfast. The attack happened at St Patrick's Catholic church in the Donegall Street area of Belfast between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Monday, 30 January. It is believed someone tried to set fire to a "heavy set of 25 ft long velvet curtains valued at £10,000".
