Investigation Launched After Creeper-Style Burglary In West Belfast
Police have launched an investigation following a creeper-style burglary in west Belfast.
The incident happened at a house in the Falls Road area on Friday, 07 October.
An elderly person was in the property at the time and a number of items were stolen as well as a set of car keys.
Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin said: "A car was subsequently involved in a collision with bins and the front railings of an apartment complex a short distance away.
"We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1165 of 07/10/16."

Woman Dies In One-Vehicle Collision
An 82-year-old woman has died after her vehicle crashed into a skip in south Belfast at the weekend. The woman died on Sunday night after her car hit the skip on Galwally Avenue at about 14:40. Police are investigating the cause of the collision and are appealing for witnesses to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
