Police Appeal After Man Dies On Westlink

Police have launched an investigation over the death of a 19-year-old man on the Westlink in Belfast on Thursday night, 29 September.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which happened in the Divis Street Bridge area.

PSNI Inspector McCullough said: "If you were in that area last night between 9.45 and 10pm and witnessed anything that could assist in our investigation, please contact police n the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 1379 of 29th September."

The road was closed however it has since been reopened.

The woman was shaken but uninjured after she was dragged from her vehicle by a gang of masked men yesterday evening during a second night of rioting in Newtownabbey.

Investigation Launched After Sudden Death In Co Down
Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a man in Co Down. The incident is believed to have occurred in Moira.
