Elderly Woman's Handbag Stolen In East Belfast

Police are appealing for information after an elderly woman had her handbag stolen from her car in east Belfast.

The incident happened on the Castlereagh Road at around 1.55pm on Monday, 26 September.

The woman had placed her handbag at the back of her vehicle when a man opened the rear door and made off in the direction of Ravensdale Street.

The man is described as being of slim build, aged in his 50s with a beard. He was wearing black footwear, black trousers and a black coat. He was also wearing a distinctive black coloured bowler hat with a white band and was carrying a red tote drawstring bag over his shoulder.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman's Handbag Stolen From Vehicle In Ballyclare Cemetary
Police have launched an investigation after a woman's handbag was stolen while she visited the grave of her late husband in Co Antrim. The incident happened in Ballyclare Cemetery between 4.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday, 06 March. The bag, which was stolen from her car, contained a signet ring and rose gold wedding ring.

Teenage Girl Missing From South Belfast
Teenager Aoife Duffin has been reported missing from the South Belfast area. The 17-year-old is described as being approximately 5'4" in height, slim build with shoulder length black hair and a nose piercing. She was last seen wearing a hip length black coat, black dress, black boots and carrying a purple and green handbag.
