Belfast Giants Win Against Braehead

The Belfast Giants won against Braehead on Sunday, 25 September, in a shootout after Jackson Whistle stopped two Clan shooters.

James Desmarais and David Rutherford also scored.

The win, which was Whistle's first start in the net for the team, keeps the Giants in first place in Challenge Cup Group A with nine points from six games played.

The Giants return to action on Saturday, 01 October, with their first Elite League home game of the season, against the Cardiff Devils at The SSE Arena.

Belfast Giants Sign New Defenceman
The Belfast Giants have signed Jérôme Leduc as their new defenceman. Leduc will remain for the rest of the season and will be available to play in the home games on Friday and Saturday against the Cardiff Devils. Canadian man Leduc, 24, was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the third round, 68th overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
