Investigation Launched After Two Men Rob Women In South Belfast

Police have launched an investigation after two masked men, armed with a gun and crowbar, broke into a house in south Belfast.

The incident happened at a property in the Maryville Court area just after midnight on Wednesday, 21 September.

The men demanded money from two females who were in the house at the time and made off with two mobile phones and a purse which contained a small sum of money.

Three females who were in the property were left badly shaken.

The men are believed to have made off in a small, grey car.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Lisney named as leading property agency in NI
Belfast consultancy Lisney has been named as the leading commercial property agency in Northern Ireland by the online version of leading property journal Estates Gazette. Lisney came out on top in Northern Ireland in the EGi Deals competition, which seeks to find the most active commercial property agents in the UK.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Brian McIlhagga
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Brian McIlhagga. A gang of masked men dragged the 42-year-old victim from a house in the Riverview Park area in Ballymoney on 05 January 2015. He was beaten and shot in a paramilitary-style attack.
