Belfast Boxers Sign Professional Deals
Belfast boxer Michael Conlon has confirmed he is turning professional.
Conlon has signed up with Top Ranking Boxing following his defeat at the Olympics in Rio.
In a tweet he wrote: "It's done!"
Boxer Paddy Barnes also signed a professional deal with Matthew Macklin's MGM group.

British and Irish Sign Languages now official
Both British and Irish Sign Languages are now officially recognised in Northern Ireland. Secretary of State, Paul Murphy last night announced the news during a special reception at Hillsborough Castle to mark the success of the European Year of People with Disabilities.

Investigation Launched After Taxi Sign Thrown Through Window In Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after a taxi sign was thrown through the window of a house in Belfast. The incident occurred at a property in Hatfield Street at around 10.45pm on Thursday, 22 September. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
