Man Charged Over Hit And Run Incident In South Belfast
A man has been charged in connection with a hit and run incident in south Belfast.
A man, aged in his 40s, remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The incident happened on the Lisburn Road on Saturday, 10 September.
The suspect has been charged with grievous bodily harm by dangerous driving and failing to remain, report and stop at the scene of an accident.
He is due to appear in court later today, 13 September.

An 18-year-old man has been remanded in custody following a hit-and-run incident in Belfast city centre last week. Stephen Gerard O'Hagan, of Norglen Parade, is accused of the attempted murder of a man who tried to stop a car being stolen in Academy Street.

Man Dies After Tree Falls On Van In County Armagh
A man has died and a woman has been seriously injured after a tree fell on a van in County Armagh on Thursday. The incident happened on the Keady Road at around 4.50pm. The woman, who was a passenger in the car, remains in a critical condition in hospital. The road remains closed between Ballyards Road and Ennislare Road.

A 14-year-old boy and a 49-year-old man have been charged with attempted murder. The unnamed boy has been remanded in custody after being described as "vulnerable" by police in a court in Lisburn.

Man Charged Following Newry Disorder Incident
A 37-year-old man has been charged with assault on police, attempted criminal damage, criminal damage, disorderly behaviour and resisting police. The charges relate to a disturbance in the Mall area of Newry on Sunday 8th December at around 1:50am. Police said the man became aggressive and abusive towards officers.
