Security Alert In North Belfast Declared A Hoax

A security alert in north Belfast has now ended.

An object was found in the Velsheda Way and Alliance Avenue area in Ardoyne on Thursday, 01 September.

It is believed a device was thrown at a police vehicle.

Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and declared it a hoax.

The road has been reopened and residents have returned to their homes.

Security Alert In South Belfast Declared A Hoax
A security alert in south Belfast has been declared a "hoax". Army bomb experts and police attended the scene at Windsor Drive on Friday morning. A controlled explosion was carried out on a suspicious device but was declared a hoax. All roads in the area have reopened.

Security alert at Belfast Telegraph declared a hoax
A security alert at the offices of the Belfast Telegraph has been declared a hoax. Roads in and around the Telegraph's offices in Royal Avenue were cordoned off shortly before lunchtime on Monday morning. They were reopened a short time later.
