Investigation Launched After Man Dies On Farm In Co Armagh

The Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland (HSENI) has launched an investigation after a man, aged in his 70s, died in a farm incident in Co Armagh.

The man died at a farm in the Silverbridge area on Thursday afternoon, 25 August.

The circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated.

A spokesperson from HSENI said: "The HSENI is aware of the death of a farmer in the Silverbridge area of County Armagh and is currently investigating the circumstances.

"Our thoughts are with the family involved at this very difficult time."

More Arrests Over Quinn Killing
Three more men have been arrested in connection with the murder of south Armagh man Paul Quinn. The men from the Forkhill and Crossmaglen areas were arrested on Thursday morning. Man Dies In Tyrone Farm Accident
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has launched an investigation after a man died in a farm accident in Co Tyrone. Emergency services were called to the farm in the Coolaghy Road area of Ardstraw on Sunday, 02 September. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem is to be carried out.

Man Dies In Portadown Road Crash
An 18-year-old man has died following a collision in Portadown. The crash happened on the Dungannon Road between midnight and 12.30am on Wednesday, 08 November. The road has been re-opened. Elsewhere, a man, aged in his 30's, has died in a road collision in Co Antrim.

Man Found On Co Armagh Road May Be 'Hit-And-Run' Victim
A man found on a County Armagh road with a "significant head injury" may have been the victim of a hit-and-run, police have said. The man was discovered in the Loughgall Road at about 11.30pm on Saturday, 05 August.
