Energy Efficiency Event Announced For Manufacturing Industry
Invest NI has announced the details of a new event which focuses on energy issues for manufacturing businesses.
The tailored event aims to focus on issues surrounding the Northern Ireland electricity grid, the challenges businesses face, such as costs and potential timeframes for electricity grid upgrades, and barriers to investment for renewable technologies.
Possible solutions will also be discussed, such as offering advice on assessing existing demand profile and advising on off-grid generation solutions.
The event will also look at energy efficiency – promoting opportunities for cost savings and highlighting areas such as monitoring, benchmarking, and the effect of energy efficiency on climate change levy.
Partners involved in delivering Invest NI's sustainable development support programme will showcase support available at the event.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear first-hand from local companies how support and help in these areas can make a difference to your business, while technical advisors from Invest NI's sustainable development team will be on hand to offer advice on consultancy and financial support available.
The event will take place at Invest NI in Belfast on Tuesday, 06 September.
