Man Sustains Head Injury During Attack In Belfast
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being attacked outside a fast-food restaurant in Belfast city centre.
The assault occurred in the Donegall Place area at around 12.35am on Sunday, 12 August.
An altercation is believed to have started inside the restaurant which continued outside.
The man sustained a serious head injury.
The suspect is described as being aged in his early 20s, of slim to medium build, with cropped dark hair on both sides.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man sustains serious head injuries
A 32-year-old man is being treated in hospital for injuries he sustained after being attacked and beaten in west Belfast. The man was found lying in Locan Street off the Falls Road with serious head injuries shortly before 2am on Monday. It is believed up to three men attacked the victim before stabbing him with a broken bottle.

A man has been seriously injured following an attack in Coleraine on Sunday. The 27-year-old man received a serious head injury during the incident on the Castlerock Road. He is currently being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

County Armagh man dies following road accident
A County Armagh man has died after he fell from the back of a jeep in County Louth. Stephen Rice, aged 27, from Crossmaglen, died in hospital following the accident which occured at around 10:30am on Sunday at Rassan in County Louth. It is understood that the victim had suffered a serious head injury after he fell from the back of the vehicle.
