Driver Arrested Following Police Pursuit In Co Down

A driver has been arrested in connection with a number of motoring offences following a police pursuit in Co Down.

The motorist failed to stop for police in the Castlewellan area on Monday, 01 August.

Officers then followed the car into a residential estate in Newcastle.

A spokesperson from the PSNI said: "There really is no excuse for any one of these offences, especially when you are driving through a heavily populated residential area."
