PSNI Renew Appeal After Teen Critically Injured In Lurgan Collision

Police have renewed their appeal for information after a 16-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital following a collision in Lurgan.

Justine McConville was struck by a car on Lake Street at around 9.40pm on Friday, 29 July.

An PSNI Officer wrote on Facebook: "We want to find out what happened to Justine for her sake, and the sake of her family.

"If you were in the area at the time and saw either Justine or a red Citroen Saxo driving in the area prior to this, please give us a call on 101 quoting incident 1310 of 29/07/16."

Fresh Appeal For Information On Shane Whitla Murder
PSNI detectives investigating the murder of 39-year-old Shane Whitla in Lurgan have issued an appeal for information and witnesses. A post-mortem examination confirmed that Mr Whitla died of a gunshot wound to the chest. According to report, he had also suffered a serious puncture wound to his neck.

Man In Hospital After Dog Attack In Banbridge
A man is receiving hospital treatment after being attacked by a dog in Banbridge, Co Down. At around 10.50am on Monday, 03 October, police received a report that a man had been attacked by a dog in the Lurgan Road area. Officers arrived at the scene and brought the dog under control.
