Niall Horan Puts Golf Skills To The Test At NI Open Pro-Am
One Direction star Niall Horan is putting his golfing skills to the test at the NI Open Pro-Am at Galgorm Castle in Ballymena, Co Antrim.
NI Open supporters such as goalkeeping legend Pat Jennings, former Ulster and Lions rugby player Stephen Ferris and the BBC's Stephen Watson and Joel Taggart are all taking part in the action.
Niall said: "The NI Open is such a great event for all the family and we are sure to have a bit of fun on and off the course during the Pro-Am. I recommend all the family comes along to Galgorm and gets involved because there is so much to see and do. I for one can’t wait to play Galgorm."
A new Fun Golf Area, boasting a six-hole short course and Himalayas putting green, has also officially opened.
Gary Henry, Galgorm Castle Managing Director and NI Open Tournament Director, said: "Every year we try to introduce something new to the NI Open, activities for all the family to enjoy. This year is no exception as we have so many great activities taking place across the estate. Attending the NI Open is an excellent day out for all the family, especially as it is free to enter."
The 72-hole tournament starts today, 28 July.
