Four Injured After Being Attacked And Tied Up During Burglary In South Belfast

Four people have been injured after being attacked and tied up by a gang of masked men during a burglary in south Belfast.

The incident happened at a property on the Ballynahinch Road in Carryduff at around 7pm on Wednesday, 20 July.

The gang attacked a man and a woman who were in the house at the time and tied them up.

A male and female who called at the property during the incident were also assaulted and tied up.

The gang demanded money and made off with a sum of cash.

Paramedics attended the scene and the victims were treated for a number of injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Taser Deployed As Robbery Suspects Held
A Taser has been fired as a specialist firearms officer took part in the arrest of three men in west Belfast. It happened during a police operation at the Twin Spires on the Falls Road, around 11.15am on Thursday. Women Tied Up During Robbery
Two women have been tied up by a gang of masked men during a burglary in Portrush. At around 10pm on Thursday, five armed men entered a property in Hopefield Gardens. The women were tied up by the gang, who then ransacked the property. It is not yet clear if anything was taken from the home.

Glengormley couple tied up during robbery
A couple in their 60's have been robbed in their home in Newtownabbey. The incident, which happened on Wednesday night, was only reported to police yesterday. A gang of up to four men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, forced their way into their home on the Hightown Road in Glengormley at around 9.30pm.

Teenager Attacked In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after a masked gang, believed to be armed with a gun, attacked a teenager in north Belfast. The incident happened at a house in the Kinnaird Street area on Saturday night, 04 June. The 19-year-old victim sustained a cut to his neck and bruising. A woman who was in the house at the time was not injured.

Women Tied Up In South Belfast Burglary
Two women have been assaulted and tied up during an aggravated burglary in south Belfast, police have said. Three men forced their way inside a property on Ashley Avenue at around 11.30pm on Wednesday night, 11 December. Two women, aged 38 and 40, who were inside at the time were assaulted by the intruders before being tied up.
