Businesses Invited To Participate In West Coast USA Trade Mission
Invest NI have announced a new multi-sectoral manufacturing trade mission to the West Coast USA from 26 – 30 September, 2016.
Businesses are invited to join the mission and take advantage of the business opportunities within the region.
The five day mission will focus on Los Angeles and San Diego and is open to companies wishing to develop their exports to the region.
Encouraging businesses to participate in the trade mission, Invest NI said: "The United States' economy is the largest in the world and accounts for about 20 percent of global GDP. The US is also the world's largest trading nation, with exports of goods and services of nearly €1.7 trillion in 2013.
"If California were a country, it would have the eighth-largest economy in the world, maintaining its ranking from July 2014 according to the World Bank figures.
"California has a large and fast growing economy. The state accounts for over 13% of U.S. GDP, by far the largest of any state. California is a national leader in the technology, aerospace and life sciences industries as well as entertainment, tourism and agriculture."
In addition to export advice and guidance provided by Invest NI's trade team in Belfast, in-market trade advisors will provide tailored market research and individual appointment arranging for your company.
