Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Lisburn Collision

Police have launched an investigation after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in Lisburn.

A man was struck by a vehicle in the Knockmore Road area at around 4.10pm on Tuesday, 12 July.

Police are treating it as a "serious injury road traffic collision".

A PSNI spokesperson said: "I am appealing for anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact police in Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1087 13/07/16.

"Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Appeal Issued For Missing Lisburn Man Thomas McKeown
The PSNI in Lisburn have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Thomas McKeown. The 52-year-old was last seen at around 11.12am in the centre of Lisburn on Tuesday 11 June. Police said that Thomas is a "vulnerable adult" and they are keen to trace his current whereabouts.
