Two Men Arrested In Connection With A Number Of Robberies In Co Antrim

Two men have been arrested in connection with a number of robberies in Co Antrim.

The suspects, aged 27 and 21, have been detained following an attempted robbery at an off licence and shop in Greystones Shopping Centre, a fast food outlet in the Fountain Hill area and a robbery at a chemist also in Fountain Hill.

The incidents happened on Saturday, 02 July, between 1pm and 2.55pm.

Detective Sergeant Peter Crothers said: "We are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with information regarding these crimes. Detectives can be contacted at the offices of Antrim Reactive and Organised Crime by calling 101."

Two Men Arrested Over Robberies In East Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with robberies in east Belfast. The incidents happened at two commercial premises on the Albertbridge Road at 11.35am and 11.50am on Tuesday, 12 April. The suspects, aged 29 and 33, have been detained in police custody.

Police appeal after Co Antrim armed robberies
Police have appealed for information in relation to two armed robberies which occurred in Co Antrim yesterday. At around 4.45pm yesterday, two men, armed with a handgun and a knife, entered a shop on the Doagh Road, Ballyclare. They threatened staff but left short time later empty-handed.

Police appeal after two armed robberies in Co Antrim
Police are appealing for information following two robberies in the Newtownabbey area within 24 hours. At around 11.30am this morning, three masked men entered a post office in Doagh, outside Newtownabbey. One man was armed with a handgun and another with a hatchet.

Helicopter chase pair charged with robbery
Two men, who were arrested on Wednesday night after a 60-mile chase involving a police helicopter, have been charged in connection with two robberies. The pair were arrested in Omagh after the helicopter tracked the motorcycle they were travelling on from County Antrim.

£90k Suspected Cannabis Seized In Craigavon
Officers from the PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Task Force have seized a significant amount of suspected cannabis amid investigations linked to the South East Antrim UDA. The plants, a mixture of mature plants and seedlings, are valued at around £90,000.
