NI Man Dies During Match At Stade de Lyon
A Northern Irish man, aged in his 60s, has died after collapsing at the Northern Ireland Euro 2016 match against Ukraine on Thursday, 16 June.
It is understood the man collapsed in the Stade de Lyon during the game and was treated by paramedics at the scene. However, they where unable to revive him.
The PSNI said the death has been confirmed by French authorities.
In a statement the Irish Football Association said that it was "deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of a Northern Ireland fan at this evening's game".
Irish FA Chief Executive Patrick Nelson said: "The fan passed away as he was watching the game in the stadium. This puts any result of a football match into perspective.
"The thoughts of the board, management, players and staff are with his family and friends at this sad time."

Cliftonville Has 'Grounds For Celebration'
There's been a substantial investment at a north Belfast soccer ground - which has already helped bring the club a giant-beating match result. Cliftonville beat the Scottish champions, Celtic, 3-0 last night in a surprise friendly match result whose score line was the icing on the cake for the club on its 130th anniversary.

The Irish Army have defeated a combined British Combined Services team in the first ever GAA game between the two forces. The match was held in Co. Kildare yesterday afternoon with the Irish team coming out on top 4-26 to 3-02.

Investigation After Neil Lennon Hit By Coin During Match
Police are investigating after Lurgan man Neil Lennon was struck by a pound coin thrown from the crowd during a match in the Scottish Premiership. The Hibernian manager was hit in the face during their game against Hearts in Edinburgh on Wednesday 31 October. It happened after Hearts player Clevid Dikamona's goal was ruled out for being offside.
