Kyle Lafferty Suffers Injury Scare Ahead Of Euro 2016

Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty has been pictured limping out of training ahead of the Euro 2016.

However, Manager Michael O'Neill confirmed to the BBC that there were no concerns and it was precautionary to take him out of training.

Lafferty previously scored seven goals in the qualifying.

Northern Ireland are to play against Poland in their opening game on Sunday, 12 June.

Northern Ireland have been defeated by Germany at Windsor Park. The current world champions beat Northern Ireland 3-1 in Belfast. Sebastian Rudy scored the first goal in the second minute. Josh Magennis headed Northern Ireland's goal in stoppage time. However, Northern Ireland remain well placed to make November's play-offs.

Northern Ireland supporters are to welcome the team back home after they were defeated by Wales in Euro 2016. The team reached the last 16 but lost 1-0 to Wales in Paris on Saturday, 25 June. An own goal from Gareth McAuley secured Wales a place in the final eight.
