Man Shot In Cookstown

A man has been shot in the leg during an incident in Cookstown.

Two men wearing balaclavas and camouflage jackets entered a house in the Drumcree area at around 5.40pm on Sunday, 05 June. One of the men was armed with a handgun.

They threatened the occupants of the property before shooting a man, aged 35, in the leg.

He is understood to be in a stable condition in hospital.

Another man and a woman, both in their 30s, were also in the house at the time. They were not injured.

In a statement Detective Inspector Will Tate said: "Incredibly this incident occurred in a busy residential area during daylight hours. We believe those responsible may well have been spotted by local people both as they approached the property and as they made their escape from the area on foot."

A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Shot In The Legs In West Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in west Belfast. A man is being treated in hospital after being shot in the legs in an incident at Forfar Lane in the Springfield Road area, which occurred at around 21:15 on Monday 13 June.
