Two men have been arrested by police following reports of suspicious activity in the North Circular Road area of Belfast.
Police attended the scene and arrested two males on suspicion of burglary and possession of class A and B drugs.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

South Belfast Burglary Suspect Arrested Thanks To Neighbour
A burglary suspect has been arrested after an eagle-eyed neighbour spotted suspicious activity in a neighbour's garden. Police in south Belfast have detained a 20-year-old man "on suspicion of burglary and going equipped" in the Diamond Gardens area of Finaghy. They say officers moved in after they received a call from a worried neighbour.

Police in west Belfast have arrested two men in connection with an aggravated burglary yesterday evening. At around 11pm, police received reports of suspicious activity at a house in the in the St James Park area of the city. On their arrival to the property, they discovered two intruders who were taken into custody.

A large quantity of drugs has been seized by police in Lisburn after they stopped a disqualified driver on New Year's Eve. The discovery was made on Monday 31 December, the same day that officers in the city arrested two people after a gun and suspected Class A drugs were found during three searches in the area.
