Three Boys Rescued From Black Mountain
Three boys have been rescued from the top of Black Mountain in west Belfast.
Police received a report at around 9.45pm on Thursday that three boys were stuck on the mountain. A police helicopter was sent to conduct a search of the area.
The boys, two aged 12 and one aged 14, were located shortly before 10.30pm before being lifted to safety.
They are said to have been cold, but unharmed, and were later reunited with their families.

Police Helicopter Finds Boys Lost On Black Mountain
A police helicopter has rescued two twelve-year-old boys from Black Mountain in west Belfast Police responded to a call at around 15:15 on Saturday, finding to the boys within thirty minutes. One of the rescue crew helped the pair to safety. Neither boy suffered any injuries and they were returned home by a police patrol.

Police Investigating Two Separate Hammer Attacks
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a hammer attack on a teenager in Ballymena. At about 3.30pm on Thursday, a boy was struck in the face with a hammer when he was attacked in the Galgorm Road area. The boy is being treated in hospital. There is no report on his condition.

PSNI Rescue Boys From Mountain
A police helicopter has been used overnight to pluck a group of teenage boys from a mountain in north Antrim. The rescue followed a similar dramatic rescue earlier this week in Co Wicklow when the victims also got lost. The six Co Antrrim boys, aged between 12 and 13, left Ballycastle to walk up Knocklayde mountain at lunchtime on Thursday.
