Pair Urged To Hand Themselves In After Being Caught On Top Of PSNI Vehicle

Police are calling on two individuals to hand themselves in after they climbed on top of a police vehicle.

The pair were caught on CCTV camera outside Newtownards Magistrates Court standing on the roof of the PSNI vehicle.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Not only is the area covered with CCTV but their names will be listed for court. I suggest you present yourself at the police station before you hear a knock at your door."

Teen Arrested Over Security Alert In West Belfast
A teenager has been arrested following a security alert at a west Belfast police station. The incident occurred at Woodbourne PSNI station on Tuesday. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene after a suspicious object was discovered. It was later declared an "elaborate hoax" by the police.

Driver Caught Speeding At 135mph In Co Down
A driver has been caught doing a "completely crazy" speed in Co Down. The PSNI caught a driver speeding at 135mph on Tuesday night, 06 June. The motorist is being taken to court, police confirmed. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Wise up, slow down." Driving at excessive speeds can lead to disqualification.

Police Officers Accused Of Assault Cleared
Police officers accused of assaulting a man outside a hotel in Belfast have been cleared. The man accused officers of stamping on his foot, misusing CS Spray and causing further injury to his foot by dragging him into a police vehicle. He was subsequently arrested and convicted of disorderly behaviour in connection with the incident.
