Teenager Seriously Injured Following Attack In Co Antrim
A teenager girl has sustained serious injuries after being assaulted in Co Antrim.
The 14-year-old girl was attacked with a bottle outside a house in the Carnbeg area on Saturday night, 21 May, into Sunday morning, 22 May.
The victim suffered serious injuries to her face and head following an altercation outside a house party.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Former DUP lawyer fined for assault
A former DUP mayor of Coleraine has been convicted of assault, in an incident that took place last year. Desmond Stewart of Parker Avenue in Portrush was fined £300 for attacking a press photographer outside Antrim Courthouse last October. Stewart had arrived for sentencing on charge of electoral fraud when the incident occurred.

Girl seriously injured in house fire
A ten-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital after being rescued from a fire at her home in west Belfast. The blaze broke out at the house in Woodvale Avenue at around 9.40am and police, fire and ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene. It has been reported that the child was rescued by builders who were working at a site nearby.

Teenager airlifted to hospital after farm incident
A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured during a farm accident in County Antrim yesterday evening. The teenager was airlifted by police helicopter from the field in Liberty Road in Carrickfergus, to Antrim Area Hospital, where he is being treated for numerous injuries sustained to his upper body.

Three males have been arrested after a teenage boy was seriously assaulted following a fight in Custom House Square in Belfast. The 17-year-old victim sustained serious injuries to his face and leg during the fight which occurred on Saturday, 01 August.

Car Bomb Policeman 'Seriously Injured'
A policeman has been taken to hospital after a bomb exploded under his car in Co Antrim this morning. The victim of the car bomb attack was rushed to hospital afterwards and it is understood he sustained serious injuries to his pelvis in the blast. The explosion occurred shortly after the officer had driven about a mile from his home.
