Technical And Engineering Firm To Create 100 New Jobs In Sligo

A technical and engineering firm has announced it is to create 100 new jobs in Sligo.

LotusWorks has confirmed it will create 50 new jobs over the next six months and will also recruit another 50 by the end of 2017.

Fine Gael TD for Sligo-Leitrim, Tony McLaughlin, welcomed the announcement.

He said: "The announcement by LotusWorks is a strong endorsement of the skilled workforce, facilities and services available in the Sligo area and proof that our town can continue to attract investment and jobs.

"It is also proof that the Government's Regional Jobs Plan is working and investment is coming to the regions. Sligo is now entering a new stage of development, and this is evident as we see new business opening and jobs being created."
