Titanic Maritime Festival To Return To Belfast

The Titanic Maritime Festival is returning to Belfast.

The three day family friendly festival, organised by Belfast City Council and supported by Q Radio and Translink, takes place on the last May Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 28 to Monday 30 May.

A number of Class A vessels such as Phoenix, Earl of Pembroke and Kaskelot will be making a welcome return after many years absence, offering visitors the chance to hop aboard.

As well as the many ships on show, the quaysides will be filled with fun activities for all the family to enjoy. There will be a range of free maritime themed arts and crafts, the amazing Yakovlevs aerobatic displays on Saturday and Sunday, the BIG Titanic Pop-Up Picnic with music, dance performances, kids games and walking tours.

Street performances will take place throughout the festival, bringing to life the 'crazy carry-ons' of a life on the ocean.

Other festival highlights include water activities, face painting, a climbing wall and lots of outdoor fun and games. There will also be the opportunity to talk to Navy, RAF and Army career advisors at the Armed Forces Jobs and Trades Fair at Titanic Slipways.

The Q Radio Roadshow will broadcast live from Queen’s Quay with live music, competitions, loads of giveaways and fun for all the family. There will be a variety of fantastic live music throughout the weekend, allowing visitors to relax and soak up the atmosphere.
