Houses In Lurgan Damaged In Fire

Houses in Lurgan, Co Armagh, have been damaged following a fire in the early hours of Friday morning.

At around 5am, the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) responded to a report of a fire at Victoria Street in Lurgan. A large quantity of rubbish and furniture had been set alight in an alleyway, but the fire had spread to adjacent terraced houses.

No-one was injured in the incident, but the NIFRS has said the cause of the fire appears deliberate.
