Man Arrested Over Sexual Assault In Co Tyrone
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, on Wednesday.
A woman was walking her dog in the Peatlands Park area when she was assaulted by a man who fled the scene in a black mountain bike.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Lynne Knox said: "He is currently in police custody assisting us with our enquiries."
The police has increased patrols in the area.

Afghanistan Veteran On Rape Charge
A bomb-blasted former soldier has appeared in court in Belfast charged with rape and false imprisonment. Gerald Verner, 23, of Forthriver Park, who was deafened by a bomb in Afghanistan, is also accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm, sexual assault and threats to kill against the same woman.

Arrest after Tyrone sexual assault
Detectives investigating the rape of a 16-year-old girl in County Tyrone have arrested a man. The teenager had travelled by bus to attend a nightclub in Strabane on the evening of June 16. The attack is believed to have happened some time between getting off the bus and before she reached the nightclub.

'New IRA' Believed To Be Involved After Weapon Found In Co Tyrone
Police believe the 'new IRA' was involved after a suspected Armalite-type assault rifle was recovered in Strabane, Co Tyrone, on Friday. Superintendent Mark McEwan, the Derry City & Strabane District Commander said he believed the weapon, with ammunition, had been intended to be used to attcked police officers.

Six men have been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in south Belfast. The attack is believed to have happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 19 September. An investigation has launched and the suspects are helping the PSNI with their enquiries.

Man Critical After Belfast Attack
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being attacked in Belfast. The assault happened at a flat in the Shore Crescent area at around 3.30pm on Sunday, 24 June. He is in a critical but stable condition in hospital. A 27-year-old man has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.
