Four Arrested Following Drugs And Stun Gun Seizure

Four men have been arrested in connection with drugs-related offences in Belfast.

Police seized suspected drugs and a stun gun in a series of raids across the city.

It is understood cannabis resin, grinders, approximately 300 non-prescription tablets and a stun gun were seized following searches of three properties in west Belfast on Wednesday.

Four men, aged 42, 37, 32 and 24 were arrested for a number of drugs related offences, including possession and intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Man Arrested Following Drugs And Stun Gun Find In East Belfast
A man has been arrested after an estimated £4,500 drugs and stun gun find in east Belfast. The suspected cocaine was seized by officers from the local Titanic and East Belfast Neighbourhood Team during a planned search of a property in Bryson street. The 22-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with a number of drugs and weapons offences.

Cannabis Plants Seized In Ballycastle
Cannabis plants worth an estimated £18,000 have been seized from a house in Ballycastle, police have reported. A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the seizure, which was made at a house on Moyarget Road on Saturday, 16 September. A stun gun, air rifle and large quantity of cash was also recovered during the operation.

Man With Suspected Stun Gun Arrested In Belfast City Centre
Police have issued an appeal for information after a man was arrested in Belfast city centre with a suspected stun gun. At about 10.15am on Wednesday, CCTV operators alerted police to a man acting suspiciously on Castle Street. When police spoke to the man it is understood he attempted to runaway but fell and was arrested.

Possible Link Between Belfast Taser Gun Attacks
Police have said that two attacks in Belfast City Centre in which a taser stun gun was used "may be linked". The first incident occurred in Donegall Square North shortly before 7pm on Saturday evening, 27 April, and saw a man in his sixties assaulted.

Man Jailed For Drugs Offences
A Newtownabbey man has been handed a custodial sentence for a series of drugs offences following police raids as part of a paramilitary probe. 49-year-old William Axon will serve two years imprisonment, half in custody and half on licence.
