Man Charged In Connection With £30,000 Cannabis Seizure

A third man has been charged in connection with a cannabis seizure in north Belfast.

Police seized cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £30,000, in the Skegoniell area in March.

The 47-year-old suspect has been charged with the importation of a class B drug, attempted possession of a class B drug and attempted possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later today, 22 April.

The charges are to be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Three People Charged Over £600,000 Cannabis Factory Raid
Three people have been charged after police discovered a cannabis factory in the Castlereagh area of east Belfast. The discovery was made at commercial premises on Tuesday, 05 December, during a planned operation by detectives from the PSNI's Criminal Investigation Branch and officers from Immigration Enforcement.
