Police Issue Warning Over Lottery Scam
The PSNI has issued a warning to the public over scam letters claiming to be from the FIFA Euromillions lottery.
People from Northern Ireland are being targeted with the letters, according to the police.
Detective Constable Crooks said: "We would advise that you should not be tempted to reply to any form of correspondence that you think might be a scam and report it to Action Fraud."

Warning Issued Over Scam Letters Circulated In L'Derry
The PSNI in L'Derry have appealed to the public to be vigilant following reports of scam letters circulating in the Skeoge and Springtown areas of the city. Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector Ryan Robb said scam letters have been sent to residents this week to inform them they've won thousands of pounds in a football lottery.

Relief As £107k Online Scam Foiled
An elderly woman from Co Down has been saved from an online scam worth almost £107,000. Fraudsters struck when the target, aged in her seventies, was searching online for investment opportunities in October. The woman gave her details to what she believed was a genuine company, but was in fact communicating with fraudsters.

A woman from L'Derry has lost over £20,000 in an online romance scam. Police are calling for vigilance after a man, who claimed to be a soldier, contacted the victim online and persuaded her to send him her online banking details.
