Police Appeal For Missing Woman From Comber

Police have issued an appeal to help trace missing woman Julie Hamill.

The 48-year-old was last seen by family members at her home in the Glencroft Drive area in Comber at 3am on Thursday, 03 March.

She is around 5ft 6inches in height, slim build, with brown hair

It is believed she may be wearing a grey hooded jacket and dark trousers.

Police have described Julie as "vulnerable" and her family are very concerned for her safety.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Appeal After 'Shot Fired' In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after reports of a shot being fired in north Belfast. No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident in the Farringdon Court area on Thursday. Police are keen to establish what happened and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Police And Family Appeal Over Missing Man
Police and the family of a missing man have said they are becoming increasingly worried for his safety. Gary McGrath-Hayes from County Antrim was last seen at home in the Ballybogey area near Ballymoney on Thursday morning at around 07:30. 42-year-old Mr McGrath-Hayes left home in his car, a black Honda Accord, vehicle registration number HEZ 7411.
