Family escape injury in gun attack
A family have escaped injury after a number of gun shots were fired into their home in Bangor early this morning.
The man, woman and two teenage boys were asleep upstairs when shots were fired through the living room window at around 4am.
Shortly before the attack a device exploded at a nearby phone box. No one was injured.
It is unclear at present if the two incidents are connected, however police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested After Shots Fired At Police Vehicles
A 53-year-old man has been arrested over a gun attack on police on 5 December 2013. The man was arrested on Tuesday morning in north Belfast. Three police vehicles were shot at on the Crumlin Road during the attack. No one was injured. The man is currently being detained for questioning at Antrim police station.

Gun shots fired at flats in Coleraine
Police are appealing for information after a number of shots were fired at flats in Co Londonderry on Monday. The incident occurred at two flats in Harpur's Hill, Coleraine at around 9pm. No one was injured in the attack which saw shots fired at an upstairs and downstairs flat.

Investigation Launched After Shots Fired At Car In L'Derry
Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a car in Co L'Derry. The attack happened in the Marianus Park area just after 10.20pm on Sunday, 25 March. A number of bullet holes were discovered in the bonnet of the vehicle which was unoccupied and parked in the area. No-one was injured in the attack.

Six people have escaped injury after shots were fired at a house in Co Antrim last night. A couple, their three children and a family friend were in the house in Frosses Road, Ballymoney when the shots were fired through a ground floor bedroom window at around 11.30pm on Tuesday.
