Armed Man Robs Shop In Lisburn

A man, armed with an iron bar, has robbed a shop in Lisburn.

The incident happened in the Warren Park area at around 7.30pm on Tuesday.

The man threatened staff and made off with a sum of money. It is believed he may have got into a Vauxhall Corsa nearby.

The suspect is described as approximately 6ft tall, of medium build and he was wearing a balaclava, hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Armed Man Robs Shop In L'Derry
A man armed with a screwdriver has robbed a shop in Co L'Derry. The incident happened at premises on Deramore Drive at approximately 6.30pm on Thursday. The man, who was wearing a full face mask commonly known as a 'morph mask', demanded the shop assistant to open the cash register and he grabbed a sum of money.

Knife-wielding youths rob shop in Whitehead
A woman was held at knifepoint during the robbery of a shop in Whitehead last night. At around 9pm last night two armed youths entered the Kings Road shop and demanded money. During the incident, one of the robbers grabbed the shop owner's elderly mother and held a knife to her throat.

Family Of Missing Lisburn Man Concerned For His Welfare
The family of a missing Lisburn man are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. Mr John Nesbitt, 29, was last seen in the Flush Park area on Thursday 19 November 2015. He is described as being 5ft 10inches tall, of slim build, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing dark trousers, a dark jacket and grey shoes.

Masked Man Armed with Hatchet Robs Bingo Hall In Portadown
A masked man, armed with a hatchet, has threatened workers at a bingo hall in Portadown. The incident occurred at around 9pm on Tuesday, 12 December. The man threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash. No-one was injured. The man has been described as being around 6ft 3inches tall and of medium build.

Businesses Damaged By Blaze In Portstewart
An investigation has launched after a number of businesses were damaged by a blaze in The Diamond in Portstewart. The alarm was raised at 5am on Monday, however fire crews were called back at around 9.30am. A chip shop, coffee shop and hairdressers were damaged as a result. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
