Two Arrests After Cannabis Factory Discovered In L'Derry
Two people have been arrested after police discovered a cannabis factory in L'Derry.
The factory was found in the attic of a property in the Waterside area shortly after 9pm on Friday.
Inspector Rosemary Thompson said: "A 31-year-old man and 34-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply, cultivating cannabis and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug. Both currently remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries."

Fourteen Sentenced In East Belfast UVF Investigation
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of thirteen men and one woman in connection with an investigation into suspected criminality linked to the East Belfast UVF by the Paramilitary Crime Task Force. The defendants were sentenced over the five-week period, from 11 January to 16 February, at Belfast Crown Court.

A man and a woman, both aged 36, have been sentenced at L'Derry Crown Court for a number of drug-related charges. Michael Miller and Michelle McGinley were arrested in the city on 10 December, 2021 by officers from Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team.
