Met Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for high winds throughout Northern Ireland.
Gusts of up to 60 to 70mph are expected in some parts on Monday, 01 February.
Severe gales of up to 80mph may occur along the north coast, however they will ease throughout the night.
The warning is in place until 10am on Tuesday, 02 February.
The Met Office said: "A large, vigorous area of low pressure will pass just to the north of Scotland later on Monday and early Tuesday. This will bring a swathe of very strong west or southwesterly winds across much of the UK, especially northern areas. This warning has been further updated to include Cheshire, Shropshire and much of North Wales."
