Many Roads Affected By Flooding In NI
Many roads throughout Northern Ireland have been affected by flooding following heavy rain overnight.
A yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office on Wednesday morning.
In Co Antrim Recent heavy rainfall has caused a landslide adjacent to the A2 Belfast Road at Whitehead point.
The original stone embankment in the area has also been undermined by rainwater and has partially failed. A lane restriction is in place to protect road users from the risk of a further collapse which may impact the road above, according to TrafficWatch NI.
Also, in Co Armagh the B77 Ballygasey Road between Drumilly Road and Cloveneden Road, Loughgall, is closed due to a fallen tree. Diversions have been put in place.
In Co Down the Ardglass Road at Ballee Road and Ballyduggan Road has been flooded, however it is passable with care.
