Investigation Launched Following Suspected Armed Robbery In Co Antrim

Police have launched an investigation following a suspected armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Co Antrim.

The incident happened at Subway in the Kingsway area in Dunmurry on Sunday.

The man, who told workers that he had a knife in his pocket, threatened staff and stole a sum of money from a till.

He is described as aged in his 20s and of slim build. He was wearing a dark green coat, light coloured bottoms and black trainers.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two Arrested Over Co Antrim Armed Robbery
Police investigating the armed robbery of a shop in Armoy, Co Antrim, on Saturday night have arrested two men. It is understood that two men armed with a gun and a knife threatened staff at a shop on Coolkeeran Road at about 19:00 on Saturday. The men made off with a quantity of cash and cigarettes. No-one was injured in the incident.

Investigation Launched Following Post Office Robbery In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation after a post office was robbed in Co Antrim. A man, armed with a gun, demanded money from the owner of Aghalee Post Office at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, 20 September. The suspect made off in a silver Nissan Almera which was found burnt out in Shankill Street in Lurgan.
