Armed Burglar Threatens Man In East Belfast
An armed burglar has threatened a man at his home in east Belfast.
The thief held a knife to the man's throat after he returned to his home in the Trillick Street area at around 9pm on Tuesday.
The man disturbed the intruder as he was ransacking his house.
He threatened him with a knife and fled from the scene.
The man was not injured.
The thief is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, around 5ft 7inches tall, of heavy build with dark hair and stubble.
He was wearing a grey hooded top and light grey track bottoms.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

He threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash. However, the man believed to have been involved in the incident, was detained by members of the public.
