Four people arrested following body find in Limavady

Four people have been arrested following the discovery of a man's body in a burning shed in Limavady last night.

The three men and one woman were being questioned by police after the body was found near the town's derelict cattle market at around 7.45pm on Monday.

The dead man, who has not yet been named, is thought to have been living alone. He is understood to be in his 50's.

Police have said they are keeping an open mind about the death. However it is believed the shed, in which the dead man was found, is used by some as a drinking den in the town.

Local SDLP councillor, Dessie Lowry called for local people to help police with their enquiries.
