Arlene Foster To Appoint New Finance Minister
NI First Minister Arlene Foster is expected to appoint a new Finance Minister today, 12 January.
The DUP Leader, who previously held the post, was announced as the First Minister on Monday after Peter Robinson stepped down.
The Northern Ireland Assembly is to break up in March to allow an election campaign to start.
Speaking following her new appointment she said: "I can think of no greater honour than to have the opportunity to serve my country and the people of Northern Ireland as their First Minister.
"I am truly humbled by the trust and confidence which has been placed in me and grateful for all those who have kept me in their prayers in recent days."

Environment Minister Must Consider National Park - Lo
Alliance Environment spokesperson Anna Lo has called for newly-appointed Environment Minister Mark H Durkan to consider the option of establishing a national park in Northern Ireland. "I was very disappointed by the efforts of the former Environment Minister Alex Attwood to the establishment of a national park in Northern Ireland," Ms Lo said.

Archaeological Exhibition Showcases Dunluce
A new exhibition at Co Antrim's Dunluce Castle is showcasing its history - as well as many of the archaeological finds discovered there in recent years. Dunluce Castle, which is managed by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA), is a key visitor destination on the Causeway Coastal Route.

An innovative campaign, the 'Unite Against Hate' sporting weekend has been launched. Stormont First Minister Peter Robinson and his Junior Minister Gerry Kelly (pictured) joined forces to support the campaign which highlights all forms of hate crime and challenges people here to unite to stop it.
