UUP MLA Neil Somerville To Stand Down
Ulster Unionist MLA Neil Somerville is to step down due to stress, the party has confirmed.
Mr Somerville is expected to be replaced before the end of the month.
He replace Tom Elliott in the Fermanagh and South Tyrone constituency last year.
UUP leader Mike Nesbitt said: "I am very sorry it didn’t work out for Neil.
"I was highly impressed with him during the course of the canvas that saw Tom Elliott returned as the MP for Fermanagh and South Tyrone and I look forward to working with him in the constituency in the future."

Motorist Attacked In Dungannon Carjacking
Police have launched an investigation after a motorist was attacked in a carjacking in Dungannon. The victim, aged 27, was assaulted by a gang of men in the Newell Road area on Sunday, 25 June. They punched and kicked the man to the ground and made off in his Audi A4.

Police Seize Over £600,000 Worth Of Cannabis In Antrim
Alliance Councillor Neil Kelly has praised the effective police action that led to more than £600,000 worth of herbal cannabis being seized after two cars were stopped in the town. The drugs had an estimated street value of £618,200 and two men were arrested at the scene.

Alliance Councillor Neil Kelly has condemned the discovery of a pipe bomb following a security alert in Antrim. The local Councillor highlighted his concern after a number of houses in Mallusk Gardens were evacuated on Wednesday, with Army bomb experts called to examine the suspicious object.
