Two People Arrested After Man Stabbed In Co Down

Two people have been arrested after a man was seriously attacked in Co Down.

The incident happened at a house in the Manor Court area in Moira at around 2.10am on Monday.

The 54-year-old victim was stabbed in the property and he is believed to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

A 36-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman have been arrested.

The investigation is ongoing.

A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

A man has been arrested after a woman was seriously injured in a single vehicle collision in Co Antrim. The accident happened on the Ballybogey Road in Ballymoney at around 5am on Saturday. The female passenger is believed to be in a critical condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Three Men Arrested After Man Seriously Attacked In Co Antrim
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was seriously attacked in Toomebridge, Co Antrim. The assault happened outside licensed premises on the Hillhead Road at around 2am on Sunday. The man sustained a serious head injury and is in a critical condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Three Arrested After Man Seriously Attacked In Co Antrim
Three people have been arrested after a man was attacked in Co Antrim on Sunday. The victim, believed to be in his early 30s, was found by police at the side of a road in The Cloney area in Glenarm at around 3am. He sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.

Five to appear in court in connecton with Bangor robbery
Five youths are to appear in Downpatrick Magistrates Court today charged in connection with the robbery of an off-licence in Bangor on Tuesday night. Two youths, who entered the premises on the Rathgael Road, assaulted two female members of staff before making off with a sum of money and alcohol.
