Woman Carjacked In West Belfast

A woman has been carjacked in west Belfast.

The victim, aged in her 30's, was in her car in the Glasvey Rise area in Dunmurry at around 10.50pm on Saturday when three men climbed into the back of the car.

A fourth male opened the driver's door and forced her out of the vehicle before driving off.

The woman was not injured, however she was left baldy shaken.

The stolen car is a blue coloured Honda Accord.

Sinn Fein MLA McCann condemned the incident.

She said: "I utterly condemn this incident in which a car being driven by a woman was hijacked by four men in the Glasvey Rise area of Twinbrook.

"Thankfully the woman was not injured but this must have been a terrifying ordeal for her and I understand she was left badly shaken.

"No one should have to go through an experience like that and I hope she makes a full recovery.

"I would appeal to anyone with information on this hijacking to bring it forward to the PSNI."
