Two Arrested In Connection With Hillsborough Cocaine Seizure
PSNI officers from the Reactive and Organised Crime unit has seized cocaine worth an estimated £30,000 during a vehicle stop on the Dromore Road in Hillsborough on Monday night.
Officers stopped and searched a vehicle on Dromore Road, shortly after 7pm on 04 January, arresting a 36-year-old man and 25-year-old woman on possession of Class A drugs and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Detective Inspector Alan Pyper said: "We hope this sends out a clear message to any person who considers becoming involved in the illegal sale or use of drugs. We are committed to removing illegal drugs from our streets.
"The man and woman arrested are currently assisting us with our enquiries and our investigation is ongoing. We would encourage anyone who has information which may assist our investigation to contact us on 101."

A 38-year-old man was arrested following the discovery of drugs, worth an estimated £50,000, in east Belfast. Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A Newtownabbey man has been handed a custodial sentence for a series of drugs offences following police raids as part of a paramilitary probe. 49-year-old William Axon will serve two years imprisonment, half in custody and half on licence.
