Property Damaged During Petrol Bomb Attack In Co Down

A property has been damaged during a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge, Co Down.

The device was thrown at the bathroom window of the house in Golf Terrace at around 7.30pm on Saturday.

Minor scorch damage was caused to the rear of the property and a man who was in the house at the time escaped injury.

The police are working to establish a motive and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police are treating a fire which caused severe damage to a section of a County Down shopping mall as suspicious. The fire at the Grove Shopping Centre in Downpatrick caused extensive damage to one store and spread to three adjacent shops.

Building Petrol Bombed In North Belfast
A building has been extensively damaged following a petrol bomb attack in north Belfast. Police received a report of a building being on fire and the NI Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene on Sunday at around 1.30am. A number of windows were smashed and three petrol bombs were thrown in.

Flat Damaged In Arson Attack In Co Tyrone
A flat in Co Tyrone has been damaged in an arson attack. The empty property was gutted by the blaze in Lisnafin Park in Strabane at around 5.15am on Sunday, 15 October. Nearby properties had to be evacuated. The PSNI are treating it as a hate crime.

NI Property Prices Increase
Residential property prices in Northern Ireland increased for first time since 2007, according to a new report. The Northern Ireland Residential Property Price Index report for the second quarter of 2013 showed that between quarter one and quarter two, residential property prices increased by 2%.

Lisney named as leading property agency in NI
Belfast consultancy Lisney has been named as the leading commercial property agency in Northern Ireland by the online version of leading property journal Estates Gazette. Lisney came out on top in Northern Ireland in the EGi Deals competition, which seeks to find the most active commercial property agents in the UK.
